Grunskes Seafood Restaurant – Open 5 days a week
Open Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday from 10am to 3pm and Friday & Saturday from 10am to 8pm. We are CLOSED Monday & Tuesday & ALL public holidays.
Grunske’s by the River restaurant is a relaxed, open air, undercover licensed restaurant. We are not fine dining but we do offer an outstanding view of the Burnett River and a fantastic range of local seafood and non seafood dishes.
We show case fresh local seafood and fresh seasonal local produce. Our food is honest, with clean flavours.
Seating Times
We have seating times available for each dining session. Lunch sessions are 11am to 12.30pm, 12.30pm to 2pm & 2pm to 3pm. Dinner sessions are 5pm to 6.30pm & 6.30pm to 8pm.
Bookings are essential and we recommend booking in advance where possible. Please phone us on 07 4152 2722 to make a booking. Bookings CANNOT be made via email or online.
Several Dining Areas
We have several dining areas to choose from including the upstairs undercover deck, an outdoor covered dining area and a downstairs fully fenced river terrace.
Bring your girlfriends for house made cakes and tea and coffee. Stay and enjoy the fantastic views of the Burnett River or grab a coffee on the go.
Live music will keep you entertained during lunch on Sundays.
You can also order any menu item for takeaway. Phone orders are welcome, however, to ensure freshness your order will not be cooked until you arrive.
Special Occasions and Functions
We welcome group bookings for family celebrations. There is no better way to celebrate a birthday than sitting on the deck enjoying a freshly cooked seafood meal, sipping a glass of your favourite wine and taking in the view of the Burnett River.

You can order any menu item for takeaway. Please note that we are unable to accept takeaway orders over the phone. If you’re interested in placing a takeaway order, we kindly request you to visit our establishment in person.
